It’s days like this that I am constantly thinking of how important is the work we do in climate tech.
If you spent some time outside today, you felt it.
On your skin, in your head, in your feat.
And no it wasn’t that way in the past. We are in a heatwave that will probably peak tomorrow, and currently the temperature where I live in London is 30 degrees Celsius.
I come from Israel, where we are used to this weather in the summer and sometimes it goes to 40 degrees, but the way that houses and infrastructure is built is prepared to this.
Europe and the UK, will have to adapt for healthy and safe living with adapting to the new climate.
However, in the meantime, no matter what you are working on? flexible grid, renewables, carbon capture, software, hardware, low CAPEX, FOAK…
